Exceptional Internal Condition with New Insulation
Insulation:
Over time, the insulation in freeze dryers will break down and fall apart due to moisture build-up and often needs replaced, so our technician has replaced all old insulation with brand new insulation. This includes:
- Pipe insulation
- Condenser insulation
Refurbished insulation means that you get an instrument with a long life ahead without worrying about heat loss issues.
Compressor:
The compressor shows very little paint peeling or wear. The lines coming into the compressor get quite cold, so condensation freezing on the lines breaks down that part of the compressor, but evidence of this is minimal in this freeze dryer.

This freeze dryer is in excellent shape, lacking any sort of major dings or damages. With many of the parts being entirely new, including the vacuum hoses, drain hoses, and insulation, this system not only runs flawlessly, but it also looks like a new instrument.
Rebuilt Vacuum Pump with Extended Warranty
This freeze dryer has been outfitted with a rebuilt 2016 Adixen 2021i vacuum pump and oil mist eliminator that is successfully pulling the system down to 15 millitorr. This pump carries a 1-year extended warranty, providing you the confidence that you’ll be protected in case of breakdown.
Meeting Refrigeration and Vacuum Specifications
To ensure the refrigeration of this freeze dryer is operating at manufacturer specification of -85°C, our technician performed a full evacuation of the refrigeration system and refilled the system with new refrigerant.
The recharge process involved the following:
- Vent freeze dryer of refrigerant
- Apply 250-micron vacuum to test for leaks, remove debris, and boil off moisture in lines
- Nitrogen purge three times to clear lines for preventative maintenance
- Refill freeze dryer with new refrigerants
- Confirm freeze dryer is operating to specification
During testing and calibration this freeze dryer was consistently able to reach -85°C with no difficulty at +20°C ambient room temperature, right in line with manufacturer temperature specification. As for the vacuum system, the manufacturer specification for the lowest system vacuum is ≤15mT and this system achieved 15mT with the included pump which is more than enough for any application.

Standard shipping methods are chosen at our discretion, either by USPS First-Class, USPS Priority, or UPS Ground. If you opt not to have express shipping, you will receive free shipping on your parcel item. Items three pounds and under are shipped free via USPS, while parcel items above three pounds are shipped free via UPS. Free shipping is only available for the continental United States. Please contact us for a shipping quote if shipping to the following areas: Alaska, Hawaii, other U.S. territories, and international. Tracking numbers are emailed automatically at the end of the business day, once your shipment has left our facility. UPS overnight is only available until 2pm EST in order for us to ship on the same day. Please call to verify we've received your overnight request. Same-day shipping for overnight shipments is not available during holidays or weekends. If you are sending to a PO Box, your purchase must be shipped via USPS-- either First Class, Priority, or Parcel Post -- without exception.

Damaged Shipments
If your item arrives damaged by the shipping carrier, please take clear images before & after opening your package to document the extent of the damage. The claim will require pictures of different angles of the box/crate before opening, and the damaged product(s) after opening. Email us immediately with your order number, found on the top of your invoice, along with the images and we'll begin the claim process.
Local Pickup/Customer Arranged Shipping
Local pickup is available for those arranging their own freight carriers and direct customer pick up. If customers will require packaging for local pickup or shipping arrangements, New Life Scientific can provide packaging. Basic palletization of a product with foam cushioning is . For crating or more significant packaging, please contact us for a quote.
Special Packaging
For high value and high sensitivity items that require special packaging, we use several layers of bubble wrap and shrink wrap to seal the product in a protective bubble so the product always arrives in the condition in which you purchased it. If you check our feedback you will see we never have any of our equipment arrive damaged due to improper packaging!
International shipping
As previously stated, our standard shipping price listed is only good for the continental United States. Contact us for a quote for international shipments. All standard International Shipments do not offer confirmation or insurance, but they can be included for an additional cost. All International customers are responsible for their country's duties & taxes. Please check with your country's requirements before purchasing.
