Unit works as shown, but I would recommend replacing the power cord, as some of the sheathing on the cord is flaking off.     What I have up for purchase here is a good used 1950s Shopmate model 2100 jigsaw with original box, handles, fench and paperwork as shown above. We are doing a little spring cleaning at my parents home and beginning to sell off some of there unwanted and unused items and this saw is the next to go. This neat vintage piece was bough by my father in 1958. Saw would be perfect for that guy or gal who is looking original vintage woodworking tools for a display or maybe for the guy or gal who is looking for well made vintage equipment for use..
