Vintage Penn No 49 Deep Sea Saltwater Fishing Reel Made In USA with Penn Bag
A beautiful reel, all mechanisms feel correct, there is a slight noise when winding, I think perhaps a bit of lubricant is in order, as this reel was recently found when helping a friend clear out a family home. There is no rust (freshwater provenance) and it may even be possible that the reel was never or only used occasionally as it is so clean. Curiously, the reel was found in a plastic/vinyl bag, with the words Compliments of Penn Reels. The bag has a minor tear but is supple and still has its drawstring. Hopefully the reel can be enjoyed by a Penn enthusiast. Carefully shipped USPS Priority Mail or UPS at my discretion given buyer location. Shipping is free.
