Here is a very outstanding example of the PENN No. 49 vintage, bakelite PENN fishing reel.
PENN No. 49 Deep Sea Reel -- Works great, turns fine, all oil ports work, spool control leavers work fine, no pitting anywhere, beautiful shiny red torpedo knob handle, no chips or scratches on the bake lite side plates. There is a small separation on the center line spool ring (PIC), but it does not affect function. Put line on it, that will take care of it. Priority Mail Shipping, Weight 2 #'s
