Vintage Meek No. 2 Fishing Reel, Horton Mfg Co, 1 3/4" Diameter, Excellent Cond!

This is a vintage Meek No. 2 fishing reel from the Horton Mfg. Co., it's in excellent condition.
I do not know much about fishing reels though I recognize quality when I see it.  I discovered this reel at the estate of a collector and I know nothing about it's history.  The Horton Mfg. Co. purchased the Meek company in 1915 and continued making their reels in Bristol Conn.
I will attempt to describe the reel from what I see here and my limited research. This is the Meek No. 2 reel measuring about 1 3/4" in diameter at the side plate.  The reel weighs 6 ounces and according to my limited research, this reel dates from about 1917 to the 1920's or so. All of the parts appear original and they move and work as they should.
The reel is in excellent condition with very few scratches and no decay or damage. All of the parts move freely and smoothly without issues or impediment. The clicker is strong and loud, it works as it should when activated by sliding the slide button.  The counter balanced handle is clean and straight and the grip spins freely.
There is zero rust present, it's in remarkable condition for a 100 year old reel.
This reel has excellent knurling in many areas and it's beautiful and damage free, nice and crisp.  There is also knurling on the jewel covers which protect two bright red jewels which are hard to photograph, (for me anyway).  This reel spins smoothly and silently when the clicker is off.  The handle is straight and clean and the grip spins freely. The foot appears to be the full length with no signs of it being altered.
I've taken images in differing light so you can have a comparison to look at.  The reel is clean, bright and smooth, a real beauty!  There are a few dings on the interior sides of the aluminum spool which could be removed if desired.  I am not a reel mechanic and was not about to go fooling around with this reel.  A gentle cleaning with a soft cloth and some Q-tips revealed what you see above.
