    Description

    SHAFFORD Covered Butter Dish Made by SHAFFORD and marked on the bottom B.J.J. 1979 and still has the SHAFFORD Label .  The title of the piece is BUTTERCUP. Base measures: 7-1/4" x 3-3/4"5-1/2" tall. The cute cow has a flower in its mouth and a bell around its neck.
    The piece is in very good condition. I am being very picky when I point out any issues which I have photographed. There are a few fleabites on the outside of the bottom tray and probably butter knife marks on the inside of the dish. The cow itself has one small area that seems to be more of a maker's flaw than anything. There is also some crazing on the back of the cow which is to be expected with age. I have pictured what I found; but I can honestly say that I am being picky and cautious with my description.
