You are bidding on a vintage, Shopmate, Model 2100, jigsaw. This is an estate sale find, and has been completely disassembled, cleaned, primed and painted, lubricated and tested. While this saw is probably over 60 years old, it is functional. The tear down included removal of all sawdust and oily residue, removal and replacement of the cracked cord, stripping of the metal case, removal of any rust, and polishing of the exposed metal parts, and the reddish brown Bakelite knobs. The work light shown in the photos was replaced and works when the switch is turned on. The metal case was sprayed with two coats of automotive primer and two coats of gray automotive lacquer, mimicking the original color of the tool. There is a small allen wrench for blade tightening that is included. This is a collectible tool primarily meant for display, but functions as intended. There are some sparks evident when running, which would indicate that the brushes may need to be replaced. No blades are included.
