This is a nice, large section (7” x 10”) of the pure damask gold fabric curtain from the New York Metropolitan Opera House which was dismantled in 1966. It was the largest tab curtain in the world! It is framed (12-3/4” X 16-3/4”) in a gold wood frame with a plaque: FROM THE GREAT GOLD CURTAIN OF THE METROPOLITAN OPERA HOUSE RCA VICTOR RED SEAL RECORDS 1966.
