Penn Peerless/Peer Level Wind Reels 9, 109, 209 – Lite Burgundy Plates LOOK GOOD
Up for sale are three lightly USED Penn reels, a Penn Peerless #9 level wind, a Penn Peer 109 level wind reel, and a Penn 209 level wind reel.
All three reels look GREAT and all three WORK CORRECTLY.
The level wind mechanisms on the reels work well and the line guides move back and forth freely with no slippage. All of the clickers function properly, the star drags are all in working order, all three of the eccentric levers release and the spools spin freely when disengaged. The non-handle side bearings work properly, the spools are in great condition, the side plates are free of cracks, and all of the stands are sound.
All three of the reels have lite burgundy side plates that, that are almost identical colors, and they still have some shine like plates on a new reel. Each reel has a nice cream or black handle knob and a handle shank free of boat rash.
Each reel has minor scratches on the chrome parts with all three being free of boat rash except some boat rash can be found on the top side of each foot. All in all, these reels are in GREAT condition and look GREAT.
