The Makita XDS01Z 18V LXT Cordless Cut-Out Saw Gives Straight and Accurate Cuts
Makita delivers straighter, more accurate cutting in vertical and overhead applications with the XDS01Z 18V LXT Cut-Out Saw. This tool is designed to cut openings in installed boards and has the power to cut up to 984 feet of 1/2 in. drywall on a single charge of a 4.0Ah battery (sold separately). With a short 1/4 in stroke length and adjustable blade depth up to 1-3/16 in (9/6 in wood), objects behind the board being cut are protected from damage. The XSS01Z cordless cut-out saw has a dust port with clear dust box for increased visibility and improved dust extraction. This tool is ideal for cut-outs and drywall repair applications.
The 18V Lithium-Ion system is the world's largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries. Makita 18V batteries have the fastest charge time in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls. Star Protection is communication technology that allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. For increased versatility, the tool can also be powered by Makita 18V LXT and Compact Lithium-Ion batteries with the star symbol on the battery indicating Star Protection inside.

This Makita LXT 18V Cut-Out Saw is designed to cut openings in installed board with an adjustable blade depth up to 1-3/16 in.

The XDS01Z Cut-Out Saw features a short 1/4 in. stroke length with an adjustable blade to help prevent damage to objects behind the board.
LXT Lithium-Ion
The LXT battery delivers constant power and longer run time, even in extreme temperatures. The charger communicates with the battery's built-in chip to optimize battery life, controlling current, voltage, and temperature. A built-in fan circulates air through the battery during the charging process to cool the battery for faster charge time.

When you put in a return request, Tools Plus will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization. Items past the 30-Day return window that have defects due to faulty materials or workmanship and are within the manufacturer’s warranty coverage (please see your owner’s manual for specifics) can be sent to the manufacturer’s service center directly.
You will receive a full refund of the purchase amount after we receive the item back at our warehouse and the return has been processed, provided that the item has not been used, opened, repackaged, missing pieces or defaced. If the item does not return to us in its original condition we shipped it in, you may subject to a partial refund instead of a full refund.
