    You can swap this out with the wood band saw base and have a wood and metal bandsaw. I would recommed changing the bearings even though they are usable. One is damaged in the gearbox. It seems foolish not to change them. The drive shaft is great. The gears are perfect. The pulleys are in good condition. The motor pulley is 3/4 so you make need a bushing, they are cheap and easy to find.
