Arturo Toscanini was
an Italian conductor.
He was one of the most acclaimed and influential musicians of the late 19th and of the 20th century, renowned for his intensity, his perfectionism, his ear for orchestral detail and sonority, and his eidetic memory. He was at various times the music director of La Scala in Milan and the New York Philharmonic.
This rare signed photo actually shows Arturo Toscanini conducting.
His signature is in the lower right hand corner.
The photo does have some slight wear. The upper upper right hand and the lower left hand corners do have slight creases.  The framing is old and It could use a new frame.
