    Description

This is a professionally articulated whitetail deer skeleton completed in January 2021. The bones were cleaned and whitened with standard museum industry standards. (Maceration, degreasing in ammonia, and whitening with hydrogen peroxide.) The project took close to 100 hours of work.
The Bones are held together with heavy gauge wire and epoxy. The ends of the pins and wire are often visible as are a few metal support rods. You can paint over them if you desire. This is an authentic natural specimen. The fragile Hyoid bones in the throat and tongue area will be sent in a bag but are not installed on the deer. Same goes for dewclaws.  I am happy to video chat interested buyers so you can see every part of the deer. I want you to be 100% comfortable and excited about the deer before you commit.
The skeleton will be disassembled into sections for shipping. 1) stand 2) spine 3) skull 4) front legs 5) rear legs and pelvis 6) floating sternum 7) tail. The jaw can open about an inch. You can swap out the skull for a buck with antlers if you desire.
Great for classrooms, labs, museum or office decor.
The platform dimensions are 16” wide x 27” long. The deer stands 41” off the ground and 55” long from front to back.
I will send a link to an online album that shows the step by step process and assembly to whoever buys it.
