Antique R. S. & I. Mfg Co 2-1/2x16 Railroad House Barn Lifting Screw Jack tool

I have up for sale a nice antique R. S. & I. Mfg Co  2-1/2 x 16 Screw type lift Jack. This is a big heavy jack , it weighs approx 50 lbs , stands approx 20-3/4" in its lowest position, the base is roughly 8-3/4" diameter, the top is approx 4-1/2" diameter. The area where the numbers for the are is rusty and not as clear as i would wish, it looks like 2-1/2x16 . I am not sure what this refers to , to be totally honest. I was told that it was a 20 ton Railroad Jack but I can not  confirm or deny it.
The jack works just fine . Cosmetically it has some rust on the lower section otherwise there are no issues. i do not have the metal rod for cranking the screw but anything that fits in the hole will work.
I know very little about this type of object ,so ask all questions prior to purchase.

SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING ,PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. WITHOUT THESE PICS, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND IF I CAN NOT PROCESS THE CLAIM - YOUR HELP IS REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. I PACKAGE TO THE VERY BEST OF MY ABILITIES BUT SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN THAT ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL.
