4 1970's RECAST LEAD & ALUMINUM FIGURES FOR ANTIQUE CAST IRON TOYS

Description

Four 1970's recast lead & aluminum figures (one is lead & three are aluminum) for use as replacement figures on antique cast iron toys. One figure for a tractor is made of lead & measures 3 inches long. Another figure which is also for a tractor is made of aluminum & measures 2 5/8 inches long. A third figure would have driven a horse drawn wagon or a truck. He is wearing a derby hat & is made of aluminum & measures 3 5/8 inches long. A fourth figure is made of aluminum, is 4 inches tall & is wearing a top hat & would have been used in a horse drawn carriage.
Total weight of the four figures is 8.9 ounces. The figures have never been painted & have developed a natural toned patina with age. We have had these in our antique toy parts box since the 1970's & finally figured it was time to sell them. So, we can guarantee that they are at least as old as the 1970's.
