    Description

    Three vintage all original very rare and hard to find 1890's/1900's/1910's Geraldine Farrar Golden Age Of Opera operatic music promo promotional photographs with one of them inscribed signed autographed signature autograph. These photos are from the estate of Dorothy Crowthers who was the Editor-In-Chief Of The Baton magazine of The Institute Of Musical Art Of The Juilliard School Of Music from 1922 to 1932. Alice Geraldine Farrar was an American soprano opera singer and film actress. The photos include one 1910's signed 7 1/4" by 9" attached to a 10" by 13" heavy stock backing sepia-style matte finish autographed photo signed in black ink "To Mrs. Crowthers, From Her ..., Sincerely, Geraldine Farrar, 1919". The backing is marked hand written in pencil on the right hand bottom corner "de Strelecki" and embossed with an eagle and crown seal at bottom center. The photo is embossed on the bottom right hand corner "De Strelecki, N. Y.". The back of the photos is stamped in ink "Camera Study By Jean de Strelecki, 200 West 57th Street, New York". The photo and autograph are in very good to excellent condition as pictured. One 8" by 10" matte sepia finish early 1900's photo marked hand written "F. E. Geisler, N. Y." on the bottom right border. The photo is in excellent condition. One 1890's 1896 glossy sepia style
    6 1/2" by 8 1/2" photo marked "Copyright Mishkin, 96, N. Y." showing a young Farrar. The photo is in very good to excellent condition
