Two Datsun 710s, driven by Dave Frellsen and Dave Madison, won 1974 Sports Car Club of America Regional B-Sedan Championships. Then, last November, Dave Frellsen’s 710 fought off fourcompeting makes and edged Bob Sharp's Datsun 610 by .30 seconds to win the SCCA National Championship for B-Sedans at Road Atlanta.
You can't exceed 55 miles per hour without breaking the law. But it’s good to know that the same Datsun engineering know-how and durability are built into the 710 you can buy

A Triple Crown For Datsun!
Datsun winning has become a tradition. In the same SCCA National Championships, a Datsun B-210, driven by Don Devendorf, ran away with the C-Sedan race. (This is the sharp little economy champion that got 39 miles per gallon on the highway in the 1975 EPA tests!) Another triumph for Datsun at Road Atlanta was in the C-Production competition when Walt Maas' 260-Z aced out second place Logan Blackburn in another 260-Z by just 1.5 seconds.
