1920's TWO ORIGINAL IRON WHEELS WITH AXLE FOR ARCADE CAST IRON TOYS

Description

A matched pair of two original 1920's or so cast iron wheels on their original axle for antique Arcade iron toys. Each wheel has a diameter of 1 1/2 inches & each wheel has 7 spokes & seven openings similar to circles. We have seen this same kind of toy used on a number of toy autos which were made by the Arcade Company. But, we do not know if the wheels of this design were used by any other companies or not.
The wheels & axle have surface rust. There are no cracks, no chips, & no repairs. Also present is the original axle which is 3 5/8 inches long. There are also two broken fragments of the toy present on the axle.
The total weight of the two wheels plus the axle is 2.6 ounces. We have had these in our antique toy parts box since the 1970's & finally figured it was time to sell them.
