1890's-1920's ORIGINAL LARGE IRON WHEEL FOR ANTIQUE IRON TOY, 2 15/16 IN.

Description

This wheel is quite large. It measures a full 2 15/16 inches in the diameter & is 3/8 inches thick just on the part that would roll. The wheel has a dark patina intermingled with some small amounts of the original yellow paint & some surface rust. There are no cracks & no repairs. However, the raised center section of the wheel had some, in period, chips off of the iron.
The total weight of this one large wheels is 3.2 ounces. We have had this in our antique toy parts box since the 1970's & finally figured it was time to sell them.
