1890's-1920's FIVE ORIGINAL AXLES & 8 ORIGINAL RIVETS FOR ANTIQUE CAST IRON TOYS

Description

Circa 1890's-1920's five original axles & eight original rivets for antique cast iron toys. The rivets are malleable iron. The axles range in size from 3 inches to 3 1/2 inches long. One axle is damaged. The eight rivets with heads range from 2 5/16 inches long to 3 13/16 inches long. Three are straight & were probably never used. Five have a bend probably from use but are easily usable again. Total weight of the group is 3.2 ounces. All have a light coating of rust from natural aging. All of these pieces were either found on or found with antique cast iron toys. We have had these in our antique toy parts box since the 1970's & finally figured it was time to sell them.
